Here’s the second installment of my Austin trip, as promised…
Why I Like This Store: Ok, most of Maya’s offerings are brand spanking new, but it has some vintage-inspired fare and whether new or old, everything I saw was breathtakingly beautiful. This boutique absolutely takes statement pieces to the next level.
Here are just a few of the many fabulous pieces Maya Star has on hand.
Many thanks to April for being so kind and pointing me in the direction of even more vintage stores!

Why I Like This Store: New Bohemia is a real treat. You can find great selection of vintage jewelry, belts and shoes, including pieces from Ann Klein, Ferragamo and YSL, and some of which were only $30!
Unfortunately, this is the point at which my camera battery died! Please excuse the quality of the remaining pictures (taken with my cell phone). Many, many thanks to Jenna & Jessica for being so sweet and informative- I so enjoyed meeting you!

You may not be able to tell from the mediocre cell phone picture, but this corduroy coat is a vibrant mustard color. It also has an old-school flavor to it, due to thoughtful accents like the wooden buttons. And, it was only about $150.
Admittedly, I am not familiar with the Leifsdottir brand, but from what I saw at By George, I am now a fan. It’s distinctly feminine, and exudes a subtle air of strength and confidence. This line is carried by Nordstrom and Saks, as well as other online shopping sites. Thanks to the very fashionable Ashley & Veronica for all their help- I appreciate your time!
